Well its worked out by body weight, the average person needs 1.2 grams of protein per kilo of body weight. So a person weighing 60kg should eat at least 72 grams of protein a day. broken up over about 4 to 5 meals.
Why do people eat more then 3 meals a day??Most people need to eat more then 3 meals to help there body repair, grow and move. The body can only absorb about 20 to 25 grams of protein per meal, any more and its just waste. So to be able to get your protein in, you work out your daily amount needed and then break it up into 4 to 5 some times 6 meals. Also having small meals allows the body just enough energy and nutrients, to get you thru the day and maintain weight.
Why person training??So if you sick you see a doctor, if you have a car problem you see a mechanic. If you need help, motivation or a guide to help you through the mine field of fitness information you see a person trainer.
