Tina, 31 How I got to my highest weight: I got to my highest weight post pregnancy. I was eating a lot of high fat and high sugar foods to make up for lack of sleep. I always felt like I had no energy, I lacked confidence and had low self esteem. My biggest motivation was my toddler as I wanted to increase my energy levels and feel good in order to be able to keep up with his being so active. I wanted to enjoy getting out and about with him. After coming to Sentience Personal Training: Sentience has helped me to make some instant and easy changes to my eating habits as well as combining this with regular, yet varied training programs. The people and trainers are so warm and friendly and this doesn’t make you feel like just another number. The one-on-one support, personalised advice and tailored programs that the Trainers provide is like no other gym I’ve been to in the past. Also no joining costs, great variety of sessions and good payment packages are available as well as their rewards program. It has been easier than I thought to lose weight and with the constant advice, encouragement and support of all the Trainers at Sentience I have maintained my new weight. Now I’m feeling better than ever before and my overall health has improved significantly since joining the Sentience PT Studio.

Catherine, 34 How I got to my highest weight: My weight slowly crept up due to a combination of emotional eating, lack of exercise and generally being a busy working Mum and not taking care of myself. I was actually in denial about how big I was. After coming to Sentience Personal Training: I have lost approx 20kgs and maintained it for a couple of years now. Sentience has taught me about healthy eating and exercise and helped me make slow step by step changes, gradually improving my health and fitness. I also completed a fun run with Snez’s guidance and encouragement, which I never thought I could ever do. I felt so proud of myself that day! The studio has a great atmosphere, relaxed and friendly. You come away from the studio feeling like you have had a good hard workout, but like you have had some fun also. It was actually surprisingly easy to loose the weight. The weight came off slowly, as I made gradual changes. Keeping the weight off is about maintaining the lifestyle and not falling back into old habits. It does take discipline at the start but it eventually becomes second nature, thanks to Sentience Personal Training.
