Overview

Sam Norton has a passion to create awareness in those struggling with weightloss, maintenance, body image and lifestyle changes, on the effects their conscious and subconscious thought patterns have on preventing them from achieving their goals.

People who are overweight usually have buried, somewhere in their subconscious, an emotional benefit provided by their weight. Whether they realise it or not, this benefit creates a thought pattern that sabotages any progress that they make. These thought patterns are usually developed as a safety mechanism that protects them from their fears. However, most believe that their weight represents their failure or inability to stick to a weightloss program.

The Seminar and Workshop for Weight and Body Change are specifically designed to educate people on how the mind assists or sabotages the achievement of weightloss and body weight maintenance.

This is achieved through discovering the underlying fears and emotions, usually associated with memories or traumatic events that prevent success. Understanding the importance of positive and negative thinking, values and beliefs also play an important part in recognising the subconscious barriers that keep them on a success/ failure cycle.

We all have a choice to change and breakthrough what is holding us back, we just need to ask the right questions.

Testimonials

"I have had the pleasure of meeting Sam when I was at my lowest state about my body. I have been to many doctors who told me I had a body dysmorphia and that was it. Sam turned what could have been a lifetime struggle into a positive experience. By changing my mindset not only i have learned to accept myself and my body but i also learned to enjoy food and let it be my friend. With Sams help I began a journey to enjoy life and take the pleasure of going out for dinner without any fear. I have also learned to accept the person the person I am without looking at faults. Thank you Sam you have changed my life." Nedra 33, North Sydney ""I have been working with Sam over the last few months and have undergone many insightful changes, Sam has taught me to see things in different perspectives and also not to be afraid of change. One of the lessons I have learnt is when something of great importance to me is challenged or threatened rather than avoid the situation I have now learnt to be excited by the change and confront it head on. It is amazing how by asking what you really want the funny thing is you may actually get it."" Keryn 36, Sydney "Well it is three days since we uncovered our hidden eating agendas with Sam and I must say I am very impressed. I am currently doing my book work and I have not even thought about food a major breakthrough for me. By now I would have given up and succumbed to the constant craving for treats to reward myself for doing my book work. I am feeling in control and I love it. My birthday is coming up and I will probably have a treat then but it will not be because I am trying to replace something I thought I had lost but simply to enjoy the occasion. I feel that I can do that without it turning into a major binge and guilt trip. So all in all a fantastic result and I am working with Sams techniques everyday so I am hoping I will only get stronger and eventually only use food for fuel and not as a crutch. Thank you Sharon for sharing your secret to health and happiness with us and Sam, thank you so much for your honesty and openness, you truly have a gift." Loretta 45, Manly "I have been meaning to write to you both to say Thank You for running the Mindset Workshop on Sat 27th June. I found the workshop to be not only very informative, but introspective and stimulating. It was great of you both to share your stories about your journey- because I could identify with pretty much everything- and I am sure it was an inspiration for the other people in the workshop as well. I particularly liked the technique that you use Sam to uncover our blocks to success. I have been using some of the aspects of your process since the workshop and have really discovered a lot of the emotions I use to hold myself back. I look forward to discovering more. Thanks again for giving us this useful tool to help us move towards success in our lives." -Genie 64, Cremorne ""It was one of the best experiences of my life; I walked out of the room and felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Sam is absolutely amazing."" Lisa 39, Cremorne
