Nooyans Community Newsletter - Autumn 2010 Page
Welcome to The Nooyans Community newsletter
This newsletter is all about helping you lead healthier, happier lives.
“At Nooyans we believe great health and relationships are normal,
we’re here to make it happen in our lives and help you make it
happen in your life too.” Dr Keith
I do this by giving you a thorough examination to determine what
the problem is then correct it, l then look for the underlying causes
to help you prevent a reoccurrence. If you wish l also look at
    improving overall health.
In this issue we will discuss:
    • How we can help Arthritis
    • Excerpt from Keith’s upcoming book
“You are Good Enough”. Clear your Negativity and live in the positive
    1. How can Dr Keith help Arthritis?
We don’t accept arthritis is normal, we believe 100% health and
being totally pain free are! We also believe that most disease
processes begin years before symptoms appear, so what you are
doing today will contribute to your future health outcome.
So what can you do today if you have arthritis in your family
(ask parents, grandparents and other relatives) or you just want
    to be healthier?
    a) Diet
What you put into your mouth daily impacts hugely over time on
    your health:
    · Increase fresh fruit and vegies, free range eggs, lean meat, wild
fish and fish oil, flax seed oil, nuts, seeds, extra virgin olive oil,
water – filtered, energised and alkalised water (I don’t believe
tap water is good enough to drink), green and herbal teas,
vegetable juices, leafy green vegetables, cranberry,
pomegranate and cherry juices, probiotics and coconut oil.
    “My husband has been
    helped tremendously by
    Keith. Firstly, after
being told by a GP that he
had a bulging disc in his
    spine, he “needed” a $1K
    MRI, be on medication
    long term and pretty much
to “get used” to the pain,
    one session with Keith
    however and the pain was
    virtually gone”

    b) Have your skeletal system aligned and joint injuries corrected
See a chiropractor, osteopath or physiotherapist
skilled in joint re-alignment. This decreases the stress
    on your joints.
    c) Have yourself checked for the following toxins
These increase your free radical(toxic) load and decrease body health.
    · Candida and mould excess
    · Parasites
    · Bad bacteria in your bowel
    · Chemical overload
    · Heavy metal overload
    · Chronic virus or bacteria exposure
    · Check selenium, manganese and vitamin D levels
See a health professional skilled in their correction – Applied Kinesiologist,
    Naturopath, Herbalist etc.
Remember there must be a reason for your arthritis, find the cause and eliminate it.
    d) Have your PH levels tested
Most people are acidic but the body should be slightly alkaline, by alkalizing your body you decrease your chance of developing arthritis and many other diseases.
    e) Have wheat and dairy allergies plus other allergies tested
Also check for sensitivity to nightshades (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, red/green capsicum, chillies, tobacco).
    f) Improve bowel function
This can be done through detoxification, probiotics and dietary changes.
    g) If you hold onto angers, resentments, hatred, guilt, fear or any other negative thoughts, these need to be released.
Your body is healthiest when you maintain a happy, positive, fun loving attitude for life and its difficulties. Learn to clear your negativity and live in the positive.
    h) Watch out for the early signs of arthritis:
    · Joint stiffness in the morning
    · Joint pain that goes away with movement
    · Joint pain that comes and goes
    · Joint pain with exercise
If any of the above symptoms are felt, start following the above recommendations straight away. It is much easier to correct arthritis before it gets a major hold on your body.

    i) Decrease
    • Polyunsaturated oils
    • High sugar foods
    • Processed foods
    • Fast food
    • Deep fried food
    • Sugar – it creates free radicals which damage healthy cells,
increase inflammation and tires out the pancreas
    • Maintain a healthy weight as excess weight increases wear
    and tear on your joints
    • Soft drinks – they contain phosphoric acid which
leaches minerals from bones decreases mineral absorption,
and contains high levels of sugar
    j) Become aware of where your food comes from
This affects its quality and health giving properties. Wild or pasture fed (natural) protein
    sources are best.
    2. If you already have arthritis or its early signs,
how can complementary medicine help you?
There are many herbal anti-inflammatory medications that can help with the pain. There are
also natural products that assist with joint re-construction as well.
    a) Glucosamine and Chondroitin
This helps repair cartilage and increase it’s production. It is also an anti-inflammatory.
Watch out for the type of glucosamine used – hydrochloride and sulphate are best.
Have the dosage checked by a skilled professional.
    b) Rosehip
this is a great product as it has two functions that help with arthritis
    • Anti-inflammatory
    • Assists with cartilage rebuilding
    c) Herbal anti-inflammatory
if you would prefer to take them, such as bioflam, lyprinol, salgesic white willow, devils claw,
boswellia, capsicum ointments, SAMe, MSM, pycaogenol (pine bark extract), bromelain.
    d) Collagen products
Chicken, fish or bovine based, help provide the building blocks for joint reconstruction as well.
    e) Silica and minerals may also help with joint rebuilding.
Then follow the instructions listed under what you can do today if you have arthritis
    in your family.
The removal of an arthritic hip or knee may eliminate the pain and restore movement but it does
not stop the arthritic process which has a grip on your body, arthritis is NOT normal and it can
    be corrected with some persistence.
    Keith’s new course (which
    supports his new book) has
    really changed me and my
    life already”.

    Second Key
    Information/Education
    Introduction
Confidence, happiness and certainty come from understanding what is going on around you in
the spiritual or metaphysical world and what to do about it. Knowledge is the key.
Changes in our lives will come in glimpses at first. We may experience a feeling of tolerance,
caring and love for those around us. Eventually, we will come to knowingness that there is
a bigger purpose for our existence. As we begin to free ourselves from the endless cycle of
negativity (thoughts, behaviours, reactions and attitudes), we will regain the power of choice
over how we react to daily difficulties and the negativity of others. The negative reactions you
have to those closest to you will drop away.
No more anger, fear, frustration or apathy
Sarcasm and racism will become a thing of the past.
We can become a demonstration of something different
    - that human beings of different colour, characteristics,
religions, beliefs, rituals and opinions can get along.
The desire to judge others, or react to the judgement
of others will simply leave us, to be replaced by
understanding, happiness, joy and the desire to let
people be. The impatience, frustration and intolerance of
child rearing will cease, you will know you’re not dumping
your negativity on the next generation.
We can start looking at our negative reactions as just habits
that can be changed. We will realise that these negative
reactions (thoughts, words or actions) belong to your
negative personalities (NP’s) or our “stuff”, but not us.
The changing vibe of our community or location will lose its influence on us to be replaced with
awareness, certainty and confidence. We will focus, not on the difference we have with others
but the common humanity, and a desire to make this world a better, safer, healthier and happier
    place for all.
A realisation will dawn on us that people who stimulate negative emotional responses in us,
or trigger negative thoughts are a gift, as they give you the opportunity to be free of such
reactions. We will become aware of how our thoughts, words and actions influence your life,
what to do about them and if they serve us in a positive way.
You will start to live consciously, with a sense of humour, fun, calmness and joy
The challenge of the 21st century is not to hate, fear, be angry, intolerant or frustrated with
each other but to care, be tolerant, patient, loving and to work together to solve our problems.
In this section of the book you will learn about your NP’s, where the come from and what to do
about the ones that do not serve you, it will give you the certainty to know that life is one long
learning experience and that you can become a better person one step at a time.
    “I had, had enough….
    pain in my legs, arm,
    hand and body –
    Dr Keith told me
    my body was full of
    arthritis, he has been
    alkalising my body and
    I have been taking
    glucosamine, I am very
    happy. I am not 100%,
    but I really have very
    little pain, we are still
    working on that 100%

Dr Keith has created a new course to help people get the maximum from his new book. What people are saying about his first course.
“I am feeling more positive about the world becoming a peaceful place to be. Dr Keith Maitland’s course “You Are Good Enough” has so much practical information on how each person can be a piece of world peace “NOW”. Personal responsibility seems to be the key”. - Moyra T 65
“I am 67 years old and so thrilled to have done Keith’s course. I have been reading heaps – learning about depression, anxiety and life skills, but this course has really changed me and my life already. My family members comment on how I have changed. I still have a way to go to where I want to be, but I am handling myself, people and situations so differently. My philosophy is, we need to learn something new everyday”. Absolutely a must course, peace and happiness for life. - Sue A mother of 4
“The enormity of Keith’s work for me is that I can sit and smile at my shortfalls. I can see where in the past I have adopted Negative Personalities for my survival that served me then but I continued to use them when they not only didn’t serve me any longer but disrupted my life. Clearing these Negative Personalities by using this book is enriching my relationships, my life and my conditioned opinion of me. I am finally getting it ---- I am good enough and heaven is right here on earth. Thank you for your blood sweat and tears Keith”. - Chris V 60
“Dr Keith’s course goes far beyond the scope of its title, offering participants the power to lead a life unrestrained by the limitations deep seated fears can place on our true potential – if they so choose. The course is paced nicely and the learning’s from the first week to the last build momentum as he takes you from awareness to understanding to action to results, with a unique blend of real techniques and invaluable insight from Keith himself. Most of all & provided you keep practicing, the impact of this course will not fade away when it’s finished & your family and friends will notice the difference”.
