Frequently Asked Questions
My child gets bullied at school, can Martial Arts help? We have a dedicated anti bullying program that we have had phenomenal success with. Martial Arts increases your child’s self confidence which tends to take care of bullying. Where is your school located? Our school is central to Penrith, Liverpool, Fairfield, Austral and St. Marys. It is located in Kemps Creek – have a look at our map to get an exact location. We also have centres in Prestons and Prospect How big are the classes? There are around 20 students to a class but the ratio of students to instructors is about 5 to 1. 11. Is Martial Arts training safe? Martial Arts training is very safe. Its’ injury rate is so low that it isn’t even recorded on the Sports Injury list. How many days a week do I need to come to get any real benefits? You need to come at least twice a week to get any real benefit. If your fitness is good there is no reason you can’t come more often as we have classes all week. 8. Will my child have fun doing Martial Arts or is it all serious stuff? Martial Arts, of course, has its serious components but children need to have fun as well or they lose interest. Our classes are designed to keep children interested whilst still teaching the more serious stuff such as discipline, focus, motivation and real self defence. 7. How much are the classes? You need to budget around $30 a week and you can do as many classes as you like 6. Do I need to fight anybody doing Kickboxing? No, you do not need to fight anyone in any of our martial arts programs unless you are specifically interested in learning how to fight, which we have specific classes for that. 3. Do I need to buy all the equipment straight off? No, you will need some equipment eventually. The overall cost is low and it will last for many years. 4. What time are the classes? We have classes all week. Refer to our timetable to find the one that suits your needs. 2. Can I get fit doing Kickboxing? Kickboxing is great for getting fit and toned. 1.
