BRENDAN Fevola‚„s punting skills have been restricted on and off the park after he was allegedly refused entry to the gaming floor in Crown casino, while his new club said he is not fit enough to play seniors.Crown told the troubled footballer, who has gambling and alcohol problems, that he was not welcome in the gaming area on Sunday night.Fevola said that was nonsense and that he would be speaking to people at the casino about their comments.‚ś‚śNo that‚„s bullshit, I did not go to the gaming hall at all,‚„‚„ he told The Age. ‚ś‚śI stayed at the Crown for dinner, they are saying I went to the gaming area.‚„‚„Crown spokesman Gary O‚„Neill said Fevola had been warned earlier this month that he was not welcome in the gaming area and that anybody who did not know about Fevola‚„s problems must have been living under a rock.‚ś‚śHe did not go into the casino, he was refused entry to the gaming area,‚„‚„ O‚„Neill said. ‚ś‚śHe left voluntarily and did not have to be escorted from the gaming floor.‚„‚„Fevola yesterday refused to comment on speculation about his football career or talk that he would be heading to Tasmania after a fallout with the Scorpions.Casey Scorpions football manager Matthew Young said Fevola‚„s fitness also had issues with his fitness. ‚ś‚śWe have some things to work through, his fitness base will have to improve before he can play seniors.‚„‚„However, Fevola‚„s VFL career could be over before it starts, with reports he wants to play with Glenorchy, rather than find fitness in the Scorpions reserves.
